At the end of a private road, this year-round lake house is set on a secluded 165 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline with Panoramic views of Lake Michigan with an additional 12 acres of woods. Lake Michigan and the sandy beach are gorgeous in all seasons.
Upon entering the first floor of this newly remodeled custom built home you will see a wall of windows in the 2 story great room, a two story stone fireplace and an open concept kitchen with ample space and seating for cooking and entertaining. There is an additional family room on the main level with a plush sectional, TV and shuffle puck table. The first floor has two full bathrooms adjoining the two bedrooms on this floor. One bedroom has a king bed with lake views and a sliding door to the deck with walk in shower. The second bedroom has two queen beds with a shower/tub combo. First floor laundry completes this floor.
On the second floor there are four bedrooms and a common space which includes a desk, queen sleeper sofa and game table. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with breathtaking views of Lake Michigan from your own private balcony. The primary bedroom has a full bathroom with two sinks and separate room with walk in shower and toilet. This bedroom has a stone gas fireplace. A second primary suite on this floor boasts a king size bed, private full bath with two sinks, walk in shower, private balcony, vaulted ceiling and stunning lake views. The third bedroom is a loft bedroom with a king size bed, large closet, desk and gorgeous views of Lake Michigan, this bedroom does not have an attached bath and is open to below. The fourth bedroom has a full bathroom with walk in shower and sleeping for 6 with two twin lofted beds and two queen beds beneath.
When weather pushes you indoors from the lake head down to the fully finished basement complete with a pool table, ping-pong table, air hockey, pop a shot, golden tee and NBA jam. The basement also has seating and a TV. This common space also boasts a separate room with two twin bunkbeds for additional sleeping with privacy doors and access to a full basement bathroom with walk in shower. There is a walkout basement door with additional above grade windows.
Outdoors you have access to a large deck with comfortable patio furniture, there is an outdoor shower and fire pit with ample seating.
The beach is beautiful for walking - walk the beach a mile north to Kohler-Andre State park. The surrounding area hosts an abundance of activities, seasonal and year-round, including five-star golf facilities, Kohler Spa, Kohler Sports Complex, Blue Harbor water park, numerous restaurants, John Michael Kohler Art Center, theater, shopping, Farmers’ Market and so much more. It is a 30 minute drive from beautiful Kettle Moraine Sate Forest which has cross country ski trails in the winter and great hiking/biking trails as well.
Winter activities include cross country skiing at kettle moraine state park or downhill skiing and snow tubing at nearby Sunburst or Little Switzerland!

Summary: House accommodated five couples plus seven singles for a family gathering. Games and kitchen supplies appreciated. Fun to be together for a week. (Beachfront sadly littered with dead alewives but the house was fine.)

Summary: This beautiful home in Oostburg was exactly what our family needed. With six bedrooms and six bathrooms, everyone had their own space. The common area had incredible views of Lake Michigan. The beach was so private and an added bonus was many sightings of a bald eagle. This secluded home was still close enough to Milwaukee for a brewery tour, shopping in Cedarburg, and lunch in Port Washington. The kitchen was well stocked and we made use of the six burner gas stove. We watched the Indiana Pacers take the first game in the NBA champinship on the big screen TV and just enjoyed unwinding and unplugging. Thank you for this beautiful home.

Summary: Truly the perfect location and setup for our reunion of friends! The house is spacious and clean, the kitchen well-equipped, and the setting absolutely beautiful. From the fire pit (BYO firewood) to the game room, the easy beach access (it's right there!) to the cozy hang out spaces, and the beach towels to the cupboard full of spices—this rental delivered! We all enjoyed our time here and had ample room for one-on-one conversations, watching the game, baking apple crisp together, enjoying a sit-down dinner with all 13 guests, and kicking up our heels for an impromptu, living room dance party. We visited nearby Kohler Andrae State Park via long beach stroll and stargazed in the evening just steps from the gigantic outdoor patio at the house.The incredible wall of windows brings the outdoors right in. All that sunshine! And the views were fabulous. It was great to have so many bathrooms and so much space. We never felt like we were stepping on each others' toes. Folks agreed that it really was the 'perfect pick' for our gathering. We hired a private chef for our Saturday night meal. The kitchen at the house is excellent for this purpose. They were able to work without interference while we lounged nearby. The open plan and vaulted ceiling felt luxurious. This is a very special place that we'd be delighted to visit again!

Summary: We had a large family reunion (8 adults, 9 grandkids ranging from 3-15). The house was perfectly set up for us...plenty of bathrooms, two bunk rooms and the basement is full toys and games that kept everyone busy when we weren't at the beach. The kitchen is great...modern, large and very well equipped. It had everything we needed and it was all in good shape. The house is very private...hardly saw other people on the beach during our week's stay. Would love to come back!
